King Pin

I had today off, so we decided to go bowling. We went bowling in Florida several times but it was pretty expensive ($25+ for one game). We were excited to find out that it would be just over $10 here. Our kids enjoy bowling but get a little impatient waiting for their turn (Ashton stole Heidi's turn several times). Both kids are able to pick up the ball and throw it themselves. I give Chloe's a little extra push (or we would be there all day).

Ride em' Cowboy

Kevin and the kids were wrestling this last sunday, everytime Ashton watches the video he can't stop laughing. Chloe is starting to get more gutsie, she used to just cry when the boys would wrestle. ( Sound like anyone you know)...... Leeeeah

My Favorite Sister

I've been thinking a lot lately about my family and wondered, If I had to choose to keep only one of my sisters, which one would I choose? I'd like to say I thought long and hard about this but the answer came immediately....Leslie, of course.

Why (like you really need to ask)? Well, sometimes, when my wife is having a baby or I get food poisoning or my wife gets food poisoning or all of this happens at once, she is right there to help out. She's older than me, so I'll always look young compared to her. She taught me this new game at the family reunion and I've been obsessing about it ever since.

Plus, she is highly intelligent. For instance, I bet she could hack into a blog...maybe even mine...and write a post completely about herself. Well, maybe not that smart, some idiot would probably have to give her the username and password. I would only do that because I know she is completely trustworthy. Man that girl is awesome.

our little mama

Today I took the kids to a splash park, Chloe and I were sitting on the bench next to another mom. The unknown Mom called across the park " Trent don't ride your bike through there, your going to hit someone". So Chloe stands up on the bench and yells across the park "Trent your going to hit someone..... Trent". She then turns to the mom next to us and says " He's not suppose to ride through there"? I just look at the lady and apologized.

Later when we were in the car I anounced that everyone was taking a nap today, everyone! aka Ashton too. Ashton immediatly said "Mom I don't want to take a nap". Chloe turned to him and said," That is TOOOO BAD Ashton , TOOOOO BAD".
I'm having to check my self about what I say, because little Chloe is turning into little miss in charge.

Washington!

We have landed in Washington and love it. We live in Spokane Valley and are really close to the mountains. We have gone on a few hikes and seen the lakes. We were really excited about the area until we were evacuated from our home last week. There was a forest fire near our residence. Heidi called me at work to tell me. By the time I drove to the area they had blocked off the entrance to our neighborhood. They would not let me up the mountain to help Heidi and threatened to arrest me. When it was all over Heidi, myself, and the kids were in a friend's house in Coeur d'alene. We were able to reenter our home the next day, but very scary. I miss the hurricanes
